In 1992 on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Hazy, Hot, & Humid was formed by Steve Hanlon, Randy Hebditch, and Bill Rountree. Truth be told, it was actually formed at the request of a club owner who wanted "that band."
A year later, the band added Jim Girard on sax and flute, and during a trip to Ocean City, Maryland, the band was finally named, thanks to the never-ending, never-changing weather forecasts for the weekend. Also mucho sunburn, and exhaustion was suffered. Hazy, Hot & Humid became the hot ticket item on Cape Cod.
After seven years, the original band broke up and went different ways. Several other versions of the band were around for a while, but then eventually also disbanded.
Two acoustic guitars, electric bass, and three-part vocals that just kill!!! If you like The Eagles, James Taylor, America, and Crosby, Stills, and Nash, you're going to love these guys! This is not your average bar band. These guys can sing!!!!
Hazy, Hot, & Humid puts a new spin on the "unplugged acoustic folk rock" thing. They are loads of fun!!! You owe it to yourself to come out and give them a listen. You won't regret it.

A founding member of Freddie and the Maybellines, Steve left to pursue solo performing and eventually wound up putting Hazy, Hot and Humid together with the help of Bill and Randy. “Without a doubt, this band has the finest assortment of musicians and vocalists I have ever had the pleasure to be associated with,” said Steve. “What’s better than family, good friends and great music? That sums up my life in Hazy, Hot & Humid.
