Steve Hanlon

Guitar & Vocals

Steve started on the Guitar at age ten and was in his first band at the age of 13. First paying gig was at the Chatham Elementary School. Since that time Steve has entertained as far south as Martinique and as far north as Ski Country.

Specializing in acoustic guitar and vocals, Steve has played in many duos and trios through the years. Among them are Cool Breeze, Steve and Jen, and Cochran, Hanlon, and Clark. The latter had the pleasure of opening for Smokey Robinson, James Brown, Grand Funk Railroad, Roger McGuinn and James Brown, as well as a succession of well-known comedians.

A founding member of Freddie and the Maybellines, Steve left to pursue solo performing and eventually wound up putting Hazy, Hot and Humid together with the help of Bill and Randy. “Without a doubt, this band has the finest assortment of musicians and vocalists I have ever had the pleasure to be associated with,” said Steve. “What’s better than family, good friends and great music? That sums up my life in Hazy, Hot & Humid.

Randy Hebditch

Guitar, Percussion & Vocals

Born and raised on Cape Cod, Randy was brought up in a family of musicians. He was playing drums at his first performance "gig" at the age of 10 and it has been a musical journey ever since.

Randy has had the opportunity to work and perform with many musicians and bands from the Cape & Islands area.  Most recently, Randy has worked with Freddie and the Maybellines, Lochness Monsters, The Friends Band, and from time to time will play bass guitar for the Nervous Eaters, a popular Boston band.  Randy has shared the stage with such names as Rick Danko from the Band and Leo Kottke.

In addition to percussion, guitar and harmony singing, he is also a certified sound engineer and runs and operates Mad Jack Studios on the Cape, where he has recorded and produced a few vocal projects.

Along with music, Randy loves all kinds of sports.  He especially enjoys golf, baseball and soccer.  His other passion  is riding his motorcycle and restoring antique cars.  Oh, and his dog Ginger too!!!!

Bill Rountree

Bass Guitar & Vocals

Originally from Savannah Georgia, Bill was playing blues jams in a couple of local bars there when he was just 15.

Since moving to Cape Cod at age 17, he has played with many local bands, including The Jim Miller Project, Loose Leaf, George Gritzback Blues Band, Dan Lawson Band, The Cape Cod Slackers, and now (for the second time) Hazy Hot, and Humid. He has recorded his original songs in Nashville, and worked with several Nashville publishers as a songwriter.

Bill spends his winter months in Florida playing freelance gigs with several bands, and friends in the Fort Myers area.

Summers will now be spent playing with Hazy, Hot& Humid on Cape Cod.
